The team spent 470 hours annually manually analyzing inventory data to identify stock valuation anomalies—a tedious, error-prone, and time-consuming process. These inefficiencies limited the team's ability to focus on strategic initiatives, creating bottlenecks in inventory management and financial reporting. The client needed an automated, scalable solution to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in anomaly detection.
Solution
Bear Cognition developed a tailored AI-powered solution that leveraged data integration, anomaly detection, and automation to transform the manual process. A centralized data pipeline was created by consolidating and transforming SAP data into our data warehousing solution, providing a single source of truth for inventory analysis. An Anomaly Detection Model was built within the data warehouse to proactively flag valuation discrepancies, ensuring real-time visibility into potential issues. To enhance usability, we developed a Custom Management Application with various API integrations, enabling the team to track anomalies, resolve discrepancies, and analyze historical trends within an interactive, intuitive interface. Custom write-back functionality was built into this application as well.
